Job Description:

The Client Strategic Insights role will design and deliver cross-functional strategic insights and analyses of consumer and client behaviors to drive profitable growth. The individual will leverage a broad understanding of how client behaviors align to profit drivers and will identify opportunities to increase revenue and/or drive efficiency. This will entail extensive knowledge of research and analytical methods as well as a good understanding of behavioral profit drivers including payments, savings and investing needs, credit and credit risk, and service costs. The primary purpose of this role is to influence strategic investment decisions. While this role will be responsible for answering complex questions, success in this role will entail pragmatic approaches to problem solving, leveraging and integrating existing knowledge, filling gaps in knowledge through short-term custom analyses and improving foundational capabilities for longer term advancement.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Required Qualifications:

Make recommendations to improve overall business performance and client experience based on both internal and external data, as well as BAC strategy and positioning

Break down strategic questions into thoughtful analysis approaches which leverage existing information and insights combined with newly designed studies to provide short and medium term findings and recommendations

Partner across AMI to leverage functional capabilities where appropriate (research, modeling, analytics)

Partner with other insights leaders across AMI to share knowledge and identify opportunities to more comprehensively address key business issues

Design and deliver specific analyses, tests, models as needed to answer business questions

Desired Qualifications:

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to summarize and interpret large amounts of data and translate into meaningful insight

Experience building strong partnerships with Analytics partners

Experience developing and facilitating presentations utilizing tools such as PowerPoint and Tableau

Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills, highly organized, and strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including ability to organize and prioritize schedule to meet tight deadlines

Ability to communicate insights, implications and actionable recommendations effectiveness to senior stakeholders

Broad combination of education and experience in Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics or Computer Science

Demonstrated sense of personal and team accountability

Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization

Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment

High customer orientation with the ability to build consensus

Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance, Economics, Data Science or equivalent work experience. MBA Preferred.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$156,000.00 - $177,200.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
