We are looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of secure infrastructure systems. Based in Irvine, California, this role requires an expert in cloud environments, network security, and automation technologies to ensure the reliability and security of critical systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in developing scalable solutions, optimizing performance, and guiding team members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in designing and optimizing infrastructure systems for both on-premises and cloud environments.

• Manage and maintain critical systems, including Active Directory, Windows Server, and hybrid cloud solutions.

• Design and deploy highly available and scalable systems using AWS and Azure cloud-native architectures.

• Lead efforts to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using tools such as PowerShell, Python, and Terraform.

• Oversee network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and load balancers, ensuring secure and efficient operations.

• Implement advanced monitoring and alerting systems to maintain high availability and enable rapid incident response.

• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, including regular testing and refinement to ensure business continuity.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerized workloads.

• Support team members in their development, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across systems, networks, and applications.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles focused on architecture and operations.

• Extensive expertise in AWS and Azure environments, including hybrid cloud solutions.

• Strong background in Windows Server and Linux-based systems administration.

• Proven experience with enterprise identity and access management tools such as Okta or Azure AD.

• Advanced scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and high-performance switches.

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools like New Relic, Datadog, or Grafana.

• Relevant IT certifications such as MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
