Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Venice, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate customer records and supporting operational processes within the waste management industry. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently while engaging with a close-knit team for guidance and collaboration.
The ideal candidate for this role will be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately input data from Excel spreadsheets into customer accounts to facilitate can replacements in Sarasota County.
• Organize and update records to ensure seamless cart delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to address questions and clarify procedures as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and manipulate data effectively.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail when handling customer information.
• Assist with setting up and tracking deliveries of waste management carts.
• Follow established protocols and workflows for data entry tasks.
• Participate in training sessions led by team members to ensure familiarity with processes.
• Support operational needs resulting from recent market transitions in Sarasota County.
• Keep files and records organized for easy access and retrieval.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and organization.
• Strong typing and 10-key skills to ensure efficient data processing.
• Ability to manage and organize files with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in data entry or similar roles is preferred.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently once trained.
• Familiarity with waste management processes is a plus.
• Business casual attire required during working hours.
