Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Houston, Texas, and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud administration, enterprise security, automation, and networking.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including compute, storage, and networking.
• Administer Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with a focus on process automation and web services.
• Oversee Azure cloud operations, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and network configurations.
• Implement and monitor secure file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, and AS2.
• Configure and manage Postfix mail servers, including relay setup and mail queue monitoring.
• Perform Linux/Unix administration tasks, including OS hardening, patch management, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Bash, and Python.
• Monitor cloud environments for security and performance issues, applying necessary hardening measures.
• Handle database and middleware tasks, including Oracle Database management and WebLogic server tuning.
• Ensure timely renewal and installation of security keys and licenses across all relevant systems.• Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Hands-on expertise in Azure cloud administration, including virtual machines and networking.
• Proficiency in secure file transfer protocols such as SFTP and FTPS.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, including CentOS and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Experience with Postfix mail server setup and configuration.
• Solid understanding of enterprise cloud security, networking, and performance optimization.
• Background in managing databases and middleware, including Oracle Database and WebLogic servers.
