Sr. Technical Architect

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Technical Architect for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda), data modeling (Erwin), and building data pipelines with Snowflake and DBT.

Rate Range: $80/hour to $86/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Technical Architect job responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing scalable, high-performance technical architectures

Leading cross-functional teams in the development of complex technical solutions

Collaborating with stakeholders to define technical requirements and strategies

Ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards in architecture design

Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across systems and platforms

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

8+ years of experience in technical architecture or related roles

Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Expertise in designing scalable and reliable systems

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#

Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Excellent communication and leadership skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams

Pay Details: $80.00 to $86.00 per hour
