Java Full stack developer

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full stack developer for a Contract job with a client in Allen Park, MI(Hybrid). Must have strong Java/Spring Boot and GCP experience to develop and integrate scalable logistics solutions, while enhancing exception management and leading production deployments.

Rate Range: $66/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Full stack developer job responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and deploy scalable full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular or React).

Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions on platforms like Google Cloud.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions aligned with business goals and agile methodologies.

Manage CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., GitHub), and perform automated testing to ensure high code quality.

Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and support production issues across front-end and back-end components.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in full stack software development, including backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (Angular, React, or similar).

Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Tekton), GitHub version control, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, API integration, and messaging systems like Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.

Familiarity with DevOps practices, SAST/DAST tools (e.g., SonarQube), and Linux environments.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with global, cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $66.00 to $68.00 per hour
