Audio Lab Technician

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Audio Lab Technician for a contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate must have experience with acoustics, audio testing, and data acquisition systems, as well as a strong understanding of microphone testing and acoustic measurement techniques.

Rate Range: $25/hour to $31.92/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Audio Lab Technician job responsibilities include:

Conduct acoustic and vibration measurements using data acquisition systems, microphones, and other transducers

Prepare test systems and test setups, including fixtures, electronics, and software updates

Rework small electronics and perform soldering, micro-fasteners, and adhesives as needed

Move test materials between Apple facilities and operate/configure MacOS and iOS devices

Desired Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, with additional college or technical training preferred

Experience in acoustic testing for consumer electronics or IT equipment

Understanding of reworking basic electronics and data acquisition for acoustics

Basic knowledge of acoustic analysis, including spectrum and acoustic weighting

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.92 per hour
