We are looking for a skilled Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves overseeing credit and collections operations, ensuring timely payments, and managing a large accounts receivable portfolio. Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain credit policies and procedures to optimize financial performance.

• Review credit applications and establish appropriate credit limits for new and existing customers.

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure adherence to credit terms and address any discrepancies.

• Manage the collections process, including resolving overdue accounts and negotiating payment plans.

• Work collaboratively with sales and service teams to resolve credit-related issues and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Maintain accurate credit files and financial records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.

• Analyze credit risk and provide regular reports on potential bad debt exposure.

• Oversee and mentor credit/collections staff, delegating tasks and ensuring operational efficiency.

• Assist with month-end accounts receivable close processes and prepare related reports.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing credit and collections activities.• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

• At least 8 years of experience in credit and collections, including 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of financial statements and credit risk analysis.

• Proficiency in credit management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities.

• High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.

• Familiarity with the construction industry and experience with accounting systems like Oracle or NetSuite is a plus.
