We are looking for an experienced Programmer Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will take charge of designing, developing, and optimizing custom applications and tools to enhance business efficiency and productivity. Based in Lumberton, Texas, this position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process automation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain custom applications and scripts to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.

• Create integrations between applications and databases to ensure smooth data management and transfer.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code to improve performance and scalability.

• Design automated dashboards, reports, and workflows to reduce manual processes and enhance data accessibility.

• Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and provide best-practice recommendations for system usage.

• Offer training and technical support to users for troubleshooting and improving tool utilization.

• Maintain detailed documentation for applications, processes, and code to support future updates and maintenance.

• Work closely with IT, finance, and operations teams to identify automation needs and implement effective solutions.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and programming tools to enhance current systems.• Proven experience in application development and process automation, with a strong portfolio of projects.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and advanced knowledge of VBA for automation.

• Familiarity with database systems like DB2 and tools for data connectivity and management.

• Solid understanding of backend development, including technologies such as ASP.NET and Hibernate ORM.

• Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub and issue-tracking tools like Atlassian Jira.

• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging and optimizing code logic.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and document technical processes clearly.
