JOB TITLE: Project Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: 20-30 people
MISSION FOR PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Manager is essential to internal and external, client-facing business and construction functions.
Manages site supervisors/foremen and non-supervisory employees if project demands.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all field work.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
OUTCOMES
Works independently and in cooperation with back office (coordinator/estimator, accounting) to plan, direct, and coordinate designated projects to ensure that goals of project are accomplished within the time frame and budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, Oversee and Coordinate the below as per standard operational procedures.
Regular working hours are Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm on the jobsites.
Training employees, planning and directing work; performance assessment; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Scheduling/assigning work, daily operations on assigned projects
Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
Assists coordinator in filing the assigned projects with DOB and Utility company if needed
Assists coordinator in light fixtures coordination
Analyzes completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies.
Jobs progress and payment tracking
Workforce management and safety compliance
Provides improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs
Interacts with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED
10 years of experience in the electrical field or on a management level
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Experience in running a crew of 30+ (3 site supervisors with crew ranging from 5-10 people)
Knowledge of Miami electrical codes
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents needed to successfully complete project COMPENSATION
Base pay range: $100,000 to $120,000 depending upon experience
Bonus Incentive: Yes, based upon various factors
