This position is located at the workNet DuPage Career Center in Lisle, IL.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
Supervises the work of subordinate personnel engaged in comprehensive workforce development activites
Develops, organizes and coordinates the implementation of established goals, objectives, plans, and daily activities of workforce development grants, as well as, monitors, researches, and participates in activities that will promote these programs/projects
Develops and evaluates tracking tools to assist in monitoring compliance and effectiveness/efficiency of various programs
Maintains statistics of clients served and use that information to prepare reports and provide data
Provides and/or coordinates in-service training programs to keep staff abreast of developments in the field
Ensures staff compliance with division policies and procedures and applicable regulations
Assists staff with making decisions aligned with program parameters and handles escalations
Develops and maintains working relationships with community groups, and other agencies, municipalities, and townships
Represents the Workforce Development Division at meetings, presentations, and workshops
Leads or coordinates group meetings and/or advisory groups
Recommends hires and promotions, directs and evaluates employment decisions for all assigned positions
Assists with securing additional grant funding as needed
Assists the Administrator with large projects including annual grant development and coordination of daily activities
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:
Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Public or Business Administration, or related field
Three to four years of professional experience in employment and training operations, Career Services or related area
One year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
Must possess and maintain in good standing, a valid Illinois driver’s license.
Preferred Candidate will:
Have 5+ years of WIOA experience
