We're looking for an all-action Finance Manager. Our fast-paced start-up requires someone who can juggle multiple hats, adapt to constant change, handle pressure with grace, and embrace new technologies quickly. About The Job

General Ledger Management: Record all financial transactions in the general ledger accurately and promptly, ensuring proper classification and coding

Generate and manage Purchase Orders

Accounts Receivable and Payable: (Pleo)Process and track invoices, payments, and receipts. Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients/vendors to ensure timely collections/payments

Bank/Credit Card Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations to match financial records with bank statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies

Cashflow: Daily updating of the cashflow to revise the projected cash position

Management Accounts: Prepare and generate monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, verifying receipts and adherence to company policies.

Process VAT Returns

Payroll Assistance: Collaborate with our payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing

Record Maintenance: Organise and maintain financial records and documentation in a systematic and accessible manner

Budgeting Support: Collaborate with the Finance Director in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing financial insights as needed Ideal

Experience

ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualified or equivalent with 3+ years post qualified experience

Demonstrable experience of adding value on a daily basis.

Start-up experience is preferred, but not essential.

Well rounded and confident in all aspects of accounting

Own month end from start to finish • Experience of early stage start-ups

Knowledge of using cloud-based accounting software, such as Xero and ApprovalMax

A self starter, proactive with a can-do approach to work
