NOW HIRING: Security Guard (Preferably with Police, Law Enforcement, or Military Background)

We’re seeking a highly observant and professional individual to join our team as a Security Guard. Ideal candidates will have experience in public law enforcement, military police, or a similar background that emphasizes situational awareness, conflict resolution, and public safety.

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, employees, and visitors by conducting regular patrols, monitoring entrances and exits, and responding to incidents. This role requires vigilance, attention to detail, and the ability to handle situations professionally and effectively.

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle

Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards

Warn violators of rule infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden items)

Permit access to authorized individuals and monitor building entry/exit

Observe departing personnel to protect against unauthorized removal of company property

Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities

Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service while remaining alert to potential risks

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years experience in security, public law enforcement, or military police

Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and console monitors

Effective oral and written communication skills

Ability to interact cordially with the public and employees

Strong evaluation and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to act quickly and decisively in critical situations

Must pass a post-offer drug test and background check
