Job Description

Fedtech Inc., a waterjet, laser and machining job shop has an immediate position available for an experienced Sales & Estimating Representative. The Sales & Estimating Representative is responsible for providing customers quotations on waterjet, laser and machining services while also identifying and developing new business opportunities along with growing our existing business.

Qualifications

2+ years of sales/estimating experience within a manufacturing environment with an emphasis in the metal, rubber and plastic fabrication industries.

Excellent blueprint reading skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

Team player with strong communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate needs between customers and Fedtech Inc.'s internal departments.

Self-starter with great analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to make accurate decisions using logic, experience and judgment.

Can accurately and effectively plan tasks and projects, develop schedules and anticipate and adjust for problems or setbacks.

Responsibilities

Regular interfacing and servicing established customers while developing new customer relationships.

Bidding and planning of potential waterjet, laser and/or machining jobs for new and established customers utilizing FileMaker Pro and Microsoft Office Products.

Organize and construct job router packets for production.

Purchase material and supplies necessary for production.

Subcontract secondary operations necessary for production.

Interface with customers, vendors and Fedtech's internal departments to resolve problems, continually improve processes and customer satisfaction.
