Electrical Designer / Lighting Control Application Specialist

Seeking a knowledgeable and meticulous Lighting Control Application Specialist to design

and support advanced lighting control systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

Ideally will have a strong background in electrical systems, building automation, and a working knowledge of lighting control platforms.

Primary duties:

Configure lighting control systems in compliance with the project specifications, local energy codes, and client requirements;

Perform a take-off, generate a Bill of Materials, and provide detailed pricing for each project that we are bidding;

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout the lifecycle of the project;

Create detailed lighting control drawings, diagrams, and documentation for submittals

Ability to travel in and out of the state for training purposes;

Support team members, and any of their tasks if needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field;

Background in lighting control design or related field work;

Strong understanding of low voltage electrical and lighting systems;

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and control schematics;

Experience using AutoCAD or Revit software for design purposes

Experience with Bluebeam is helpful

Excellent communication, customer service and writing skills

Self-motivated with the ability and initiative to work with minimal supervision
