Summer Program Leader - 2025
Job Summary:
The Summer Program Leader will lead a group of approximately 15 elementary (Grades 3-5) or middle school (Grades 6-8) students in daily interest-based enrichment programs and community-building. The camp-like programming includes art, sports & recreation, cooking and other interest-based activities that complement the STEM and literacy focus of the summer academic program taught by teachers. The Program Leader will build positive relationships with students that support their success and well-being.
The Summer Program Leader reports to the school-based Site Supervisor at their assigned building.

Edison Elementary School (grades K-5) - 8200 Gross Point Rd, Morton Grove, IL 60053
Lincoln Jr. High (grades 6-8) - 7839 Lincoln Ave, Skokie, IL 60077
Qualifications
Graduated from high school
Ability to work with a diverse group of team members and youth
Summer Session Dates & Work Hours
This is a temporary and seasonal position
Dates:
Week 1: June 16-20 (no programming on June 19th)
Week 2: June 23-27
Week 3: July 14-18
Week 4: July 21-25
Week 5: August 4-8
Work Hours:
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Rate of Pay: $17 hour (if returning, will get .50 cent incremental raise based on years of service)
