Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assure personal compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies.
Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with our medical model.
Establish appropriate level of care for patients.
Complete all medical record documentation prior to end of shift.
Works with and encourages clinical support staff to assure quality and proficiency in the delivery of clinical care.
Being friendly, courteous, service-oriented, professional, outgoing, and customer service driven
Functions as an independent healthcare provider who is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic medical conditions in an urgent care setting that can include telehealth medicine.
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant demonstrates an advanced level of medical clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism and systems-based practice.
Qualifications
Skills: including but not limited to:
Pediatric
Adult
Geriatric
Laceration management including staples, sutures, dermabond, suture removal
Basic splint application
Basic ekg interpretation
Basic blood and urinalysis interpretation
Management of common complaints such as upper respiratory infections, GI tract complaints, STD treatment, screening exams, diabetes, asthma, hypertension
Oklahoma Advanced Practice license
