QualificationsnA certificate, associate's, or bachelor's degree in information technology (IT), computer science, or a related field preferred.

IT support or help desk experience a plus.

Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and basic networking concepts needed.

Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and remote desktop tools.

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment necessary.

CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications beneficial.

Experience with ITIL-based support practices a plus.

Must have reliable transportation to travel between college-owned buildings and off-site locations as needed.nJob SummarynResponsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.nEssential Duties: This position requires extensive hands-on interaction with faculty and staff.

As a result, this position requires physical presence to complete the essential duties found below.n General:nnProvide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and application issuesnRespond to help desk tickets, phone calls, and emails in a timely and courteous mannernTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and networksnInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware componentsnInstall and terminate network wiringnDocument internal procedures and user guidesnEscalate issues to appropriate internal teams or vendors when necessarynAssist with onboarding/offboarding of employees (account setups, equipment provisioning)nMaintain inventory of IT equipment and software licensesnParticipate in IT projects and initiatives as needednAbility to lift and transport computer equipment such as desktops, monitors, printers, and other hardware (up to 60 lbs.)nAbility to perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, climbing ladders, or reaching in tight spaces for cable management or hardware installationnPerform other duties as assignedn
