Job Description
This role provides comprehensive support for all Microsoft Tech stacks used by the organization. This position plays a crucial role in safeguarding the systems and data from potential threats, ensuring a secure computing environment for the organization.
This position is considered hybrid and will work in our New Bedford and/or Plymouth office up to 3 days per week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides technical support and guidance to resolve users computer hardware and software problems.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system updates
Coordinates service and/or replacement of equipment
Collaborate with leadership to implement security policies, procedures and best practices related to tech stacks used at company.
Monitor and analyze security alerts and events, promptly responding to and escalating any potential issues or threats.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using Microsoft Defender or similar tools to identify potential weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
Stay up to date with latest security trends and share this knowledge with organization
Assist with incident response activities including containment, investigation and recovery.
Manage and maintain Microsoft Intune and Autopilot services (or similar) including device enrollment, configuration, application deployment and policy enforcement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or related field (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years of experience working in technology and security environments
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices and technologies with a focus on Microsoft Defender products, Intune and Autopilot or similar
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to think creatively and adapt to evolving threats
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with all levels of company
