We are looking for a dynamic Senior Product Manager to drive our product strategy in alignment with our mission and help further establish Alen’s leadership in solutions for managing air quality.
About the Role
As Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for establishing an in-depth knowledge of Alen’s current products, assessing current and emerging product markets for air quality managements solutions, and defining a vision and strategy for the growth and differentiation of Alen’s product portfolio and overall business. You’ll work closely with engineering, marketing, operations, and customer experience to ensure Alen’s products meet our customer’s needs and align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Customer Research: Conduct market analysis, gather customer insights, and identify trends to drive product decisions.
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Help establish go-to-market launch strategies, inclusive of compelling product positioning, messaging, and promotional plans.
Product Requirements & Innovation: Own the process of product requirements gathering and prioritization. Identify opportunities for product innovation and improvements based on market trends and customer needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure successful product development and launch.
Performance Monitoring: Define key success metrics, analyze product performance, and continuously optimize based on customer feedback and data insights.
Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate product roadmaps, progress, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders.
Customer & Partner Facing: Interact with B2C and B2B customers, represent Alen at industry tradeshows and conferences.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of hardware and software product development processes. Experience working with engineering, marketing, operations, and customer experience teams.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use data to drive decisions, measure success, and help plan product iterations.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep empathy for customers and a passion for solving real-world problems through product innovation.
Self-Management: Strong self-organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to productively impact many in parallel projects.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Agility & Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and driving change when necessary.
Experience: 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer electronics, IoT devices, or air quality solutions.
