Outpatient Coder - Direct Hire - HYBRID in Indianapolis
LHH is seeking an experienced Outpatient Coder for our client in Indianapolis! This is a hybrid onsite/remote position with 2-3 days per week in office. Those with 2 or more years of Outpatient Coding experience + Coding Certification are encouraged to apply! We are hiring ASAP.
Job details:
Monday - Friday, 7AM-8AM start time (flexible)
Location: west Indianapolis area; 2 or 3 days onsite per week
Salary: $60-75k depending on years of experience

Coders will:
Review notes, charge documents, services provided, ensure charges are correct
Enter insurance coverage for insurances
Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes
Ensure patient information, dates, and needed signatures are included
Ensure diagnosis matches the services provided
Review physician documentation, work closely with other parties/departments on Coding errors or denials
Assist with Coding audits as needed
Qualified Coders will possess:
2 or more years of experience in Outpatient Coding
Coding certification (CPC, CCS, CRC, etc.)
ICD-10 & CPT knowledge
E&M experience preferred, not required
Soft skills include strong analytical abilities, excellent communication and time management skills
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
