Test Engineer

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Test Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino CA(Hybrid). The ideal candidate excels in factory test development and diagnostics, overseeing test plan audits and production phases to ensure high-yield manufacturing.

Rate Range: $72/hour to $77/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Test Engineer job responsibilities include:

Auditing and approving functional test plans

Managing production across all phases (prototype to mass production)

Troubleshooting test hardware and improving diagnostic tools

Ensuring compliance with test equipment calibration and ESD policies

Co-developing manufacturing instructions with ODMs for assembly and testing processes

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field

3+ years of experience in factory test and diagnostics development

Strong knowledge of motherboard architecture and related subsystems

Proficiency in Linux systems engineering and programming (Bash, Python)

Experience with stress testing utilities and diagnostic tools

Solid understanding of networking protocols and hardware (TCP/IP, 1GbE, 100GbE NICs)

Pay Details: $72.00 to $77.00 per hour
