Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (Contract)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position with our team. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to identify and address roadblocks in the quality assurance process. As a QAE, you will collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of production environments. Key responsibilities include identifying use cases, developing test cases, executing tests, and reporting results during the software development cycle.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability and performance of the production environment.

Identify use cases for software functionality and create detailed test cases.

Execute functional, integration, and regression tests for website applications.

Communicate test results and potential issues effectively across multiple teams.

Proactively contribute to process improvements for quality assurance and development workflows.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

At least 4 years of experience in software testing, including testing website applications.

Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.

Familiarity with QA processes and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with Selenium is highly desired.

Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Java, and SQL is a plus (but not required).
