Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Machinist in Vista, CA.

? Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Overtime may be required)

? Pay: $25–$33/hr, based on experience (DOE)

Position Summary As a CNC Machinist, you’ll work closely with our Machine Shop Programmer and Engineering team to ensure all fabricated parts and assemblies meet company quality standards. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with room for growth.

As a CNC Machinist you will:

Perform complete machine setups independently

Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and design specs

Select appropriate tools, work holding, machine speeds, and feeds

Execute full part operations from setup to first article approval

Conduct in-process inspections and maintain accurate quality records

Recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency

Participate in internal training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Complete other duties as assigned

This is a full time opportunity

The ideal candiate will have:

U.S. Person status (due to export control regulations)

High School Diploma or GED

1+ years of MasterCam programming experience

Solid understanding of machine offsets, clearances, and inspection methods

Experience with precision measuring tools and inspection processes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat

Willingness to work in a loud environment and stand for long periods

Availability for overtime and occasional weekend shifts

Pay Rate: $25.00-33.00/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
