Job Title: Platform Engineer

Location-Type: Remote

Start Date Is: 6/23

Duration: Contract through EOY (extension or conversion possible)

Compensation Range: $42.75/hr – $55/hr

Job Description:

Support and evolve core platform infrastructure to enable business innovation and automation at scale.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Enhance and maintain the platform infrastructure

Automate virtual infrastructure using Python and Bash

Set up new services and containerize legacy services using Kubernetes

Build new CI/CD pipelines to support new business initiatives

Improve observability and monitoring of platform systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile sprints

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

4–6+ years of platform engineering experience

Proficient in Python and Bash scripting

Experience with Ansible and Terraform

Understanding of observability principles (e.g., Observe, New Relic)

Ability to write and understand Tamil

Strong communication and collaboration skills; not just a heads-down coder

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience converting services from VMs to containers

Familiarity with agile development and defining sprint needs

Fully remote
