This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

5+ years of experience with software design and development

Experience with full-stack software development using technologies like Angular, HTML and HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and XML, Ajax, SQL, Java, Python, Spring-Framework, SOA and RESTful patterns, JBoss and Wildfly, JMS, or Selenium

Experience with data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and software design

Knowledge of the Linux operating system and basic Linux system administration

Ability to independently design, code, and test major features, and work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes

Ability to collaborate with product management, engineering teams, and operations teams to develop innovative solutions

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

Experience in software development using Go, Rust, SaltStack, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Tika, Storm and Zookeeper

Ability to communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings

Ability to be results-oriented with a customer focus

Possession of excellent analytical, trouble shooting, and problem-solving skills

TS/SCI clearance

Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
