Adjunct Instructor - Educational Technology

Job Description

Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution, seeks a qualified adjunct instructor to teach an online Education Technology course beginning in the fall, 2025 term.

Course Description:

EDU 140/Introduction to Educational Technology

Semester Hours: 3

Addresses the fundamentals of educational technology and instructional design. Students will explore media, computers, and related technologies as they relate to the classroom setting. Students will explore and evaluate how, when, and where technology should be integrated in the classroom.

Pre-requisites: none.

Candidates should possess, at minimum, a Master's degree in education, a Wisconsin teaching license and relevant teaching experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Teach undergraduate courses in education.

Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.

Administer and/or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.

Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.

Use university technology as directed.
