Position Overview: The Launch Vehicle Integration Lead will drive the planning and execution of integration activities spanning vehicle systems, payload interfaces, range safety compliance, and launch operations. This role is critical to ensure mission assurance across multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external launch services providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate vehicle-level integration efforts from design through launch operations.
Develop and maintain integration schedules, ICDs (Interface Control Documents), and verification and validation plans.
Oversee vehicle and payload mechanical, electrical, and RF integration activities.
Serve as technical liaison between program engineering, launch site operations, and customers.
Support launch campaigns and anomaly resolution, ensuring readiness for launch and post-launch reporting.
Drive system-level reviews and technical interchange meetings (TIMs) to ensure design closure and risk mitigation.
Ensure compliance with safety and range requirements and export control procedures (ITAR/EAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years in aerospace integration, with at least 3 years in a lead or IPT role.
Experience with launch vehicles or satellite programs is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of vehicle system engineering, integration/test processes, and launch operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
