Foodservice Delivery Driver - CDL A - 4-day work week, not over the road.

Want to work 4 days per week and be off 3? We have the opportunity for you.

Work your hours in 4 days get 3 days per week off.

Typical 1 overnight per week required.

We provide your room for the night out and give you a per diem pay on top.

Work is Foodservice-related. We are in the Bakery Supply business. You will work either with a driver's helper or alone to bring supplies to the local bakeries. We do dock drops, carry in with convertible dolly, use electric pallet jacks, and have liftgates on trucks/ trailers.

Job Details:

Full time.

Per diem pay on top of weekly compensation for any nights away from home.

Foodservice type work.

Daily local routes.

Weekly compensation.

Medical, eye, and dental plans are available.

The following items are based on the position assigned daily:

Working independently or with a driver's helper.

Lifting - average case 50#.

Liftgate-equipped Trucks and trailers.

Use a Convertible dolly and an Electric pallet jack.

Delivering and unloading various food products to retail/ wholesale.

Average workweek of 45 hours.

Route delivery experience is a plus.

Early morning to daylight hours, Monday through Friday availability.

Applicant must be able to:

Drive Company vehicles - Tractor and Trailer Combination or 26-foot box truck.

Drive a manual, standard shift transmission (10-speed).

Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows.

Unload products from the truck by hand or using a hand cart, and place them in designated customer storage areas.

This may include transporting products down ramps, stairs, or docks.

Lift, push, or move a product that weighs 1-50 pounds.

Reach up to 72" to stack and unstack pallets and hand carts.

Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.

Collect payments where required, and turn in all funds collected daily.

Pickup, load and unload damaged goods and customer returns.

Use the provided Electronic Log Device for DOT Hours of Service.

Complete company vehicle maintenance reports.

Safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to hand cart, pallet jacks, load bars, liftgate, and personal protective equipment.

Experience utilizing electric pallet jack, truck liftgate, and hand trucks.
