Shipping and Receiving Associate

N. Wasserstrom Designs and Manufactures Custom Equipment, Furniture and Fixtures for the places where you eat, sleep, work, play and gather. Do you take pride in your work and like working with your hands? We are currently hiring for a Forklift Operator, responsible for shipping, receiving and material handling of our custom products. N. Wasserstrom is currently offering a $3,250 signing and retention bonus to eligible associates!

Responsibilities

Receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment and other items from the warehouse.

Operating a Forklift to pick, stage, load and stock materials, components and finished goods in and out of the warehouse in accordance with all safety and operational policies.

Using handheld radio frequency scanners as part of our warehouse management system.

Unloading materials and components from incoming delivery trucks and stocking in inventory locations.

Other duties as needed.

Overtime and weekends may be required as needed.

Qualifications

Forklift experience and the ability to lift 75 pounds.

1 year experience in a warehouse and/or distribution environment including order processing, inventory control and receipts (preferred)

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to peers and management.

Self-starter, who can work independently and, in a team, to achieve all necessary tasks.
