Mainframe Vantage Programmer

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Mainframe Vantage Programmer in the life/annuity insurance domain

Design, develop, and support life insurance products on Vantage mainframe applications

Perform requirement analysis, system design, and technical architecture for new and enhanced products

Develop technical design documents, system interface specifications, and test plans

Code and test using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS Web Services, and other mainframe tools

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to project guidelines and quality standards

Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployments

Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical solutions

Provide technical inputs during product design reviews and contribute to application architecture decisions

Strong hands-on expertise with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, DB2, CICS Web Services

Deep knowledge of life insurance product development, especially UL/IUL products on the Vantage platform

Experience working in onshore-offshore delivery models
