Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cybersecurity readiness of the customer's cyber environment through comprehensive testing, analysis, and implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity measures and support the transition to a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct testing and analysis of all applicable STIGs to ensure compliance and security.
Schedule and implement all applicable STIGs in a timely manner.
Monitor and execute the quarterly revalidation schedule to maintain cybersecurity standards.
Stay updated on emerging changes to applicable STIGs outside of the quarterly schedules and implement necessary adjustments.
Provide meeting support by briefing leadership on cybersecurity updates, preparing biweekly cybersecurity update meetings, facilitating collaboration with stakeholders, and obtaining input from stakeholders to present to leadership.
Monitor the cybersecurity risk and threat landscape to the customer's cyber environment and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Assist with the implementation plans for the transition to a cloud environment, ensuring a secure and seamless transition.
Qualifications:
At least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience in industry standards for cybersecurity and system accreditation or equivalent NIST security standards.
Maintains an active Secret Clearance
Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, particularly in testing and implementing STIGs.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management and threat monitoring.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with stakeholders and leadership.
Experience with cloud environments and transition planning is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are preferred.

Working on a computer for long periods of time.
May involve long period of sitting at a desk.
The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
