Job Description
Palmer Logistics is looking for a skilled Inventory Control Coordinator to join our dynamic team!
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in Warehouse Management Systems, Warehouse Equipment and Microsoft Office Suite. This position plays a crucial role in our daily operations by verifying and reconciling inventories of customers' products and being a liaison between customers and operations as needed. Responsibilities:
Conduct and/or assist in regular physical inventory counts and audits.
Direct and authorize department cycle counts on a scheduled basis.
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy both physically and systematically.
Maintain reports and cycle count data.
Coordinate between customer and operations on physical inventories.
Utilize RF scanner.
Operate equipment such as sit-down forklift, reach truck, and order selector.
Ability to travel to warehouse facilities either in the Baytown, Houston, and/or Pasadena area.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail oriented, organized, and analytical.
Ability to work in fast paced environment and work well under pressure and time constraints.
Ability to multi-task.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
2-3 years of warehouse experience (3PL a plus)
Experience with cycle count and inventory control.
High School Diploma or GED
