THE ROLE:

We are seeking EVS Housekeepers to join our team! As an EVS Housekeeper, your role is essential in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation across the hospital premises. The responsibilities are diverse, and your contribution will play a crucial role in enhancing the comfort and safety of patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly performing cleaning tasks in assigned areas, which includes scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.

Following established procedures for the disposal of trash, biohazardous materials, and recycling.

Safely managing cleaning chemicals, ensuring they are properly used, stored, and disposed.

Providing deep cleaning of patient rooms, surgical areas, public spaces, offices, and restrooms.

Assisting with inventory control of housekeeping supplies and equipment.

Responding promptly to requests for cleaning or maintenance from staff, patients, and visitors.

Complying with all regulations regarding sanitation and infection control.

Performing additional duties or projects as assigned by the EVS Manager.

Requirements:

MINIMUM 1-YEAR recent Hospital or Hotel Housekeeping

Strong Communication Skills

Strong Work Ethic

Basic Computer Skills

No attendance or tardy issues

Deadline and detail-oriented

Flu vaccination required

HS Diploma or GED required

Part-time
