Salary Range: $55,000-$63,000

Our offices are based in the heart of the Loop in downtown Chicago, but we are pleased to note that our Chicago office is operating on a hybrid work model (mix of in-office and remote work).

Position Summary:

The Parking Spot is now hiring for a Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator to join our growing team to manage the full life cycle recruiting and onboarding process for all employees at the Chicago Corporate office and across 48 Field locations nationwide. Responsibilities will include sourcing candidates through various channels and planning interview and selection procedures. This role will also be heavily involved in planning new hire onboarding training schedules and logistics, to ensure a smooth transition for all Corporate and Field Management new hires. This role is an exciting opportunity for a junior-level HR professional to gain experience in 2 key HR focus areas: talent acquisition and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

Partner with hiring managers at the Corporate office and across 48 locations to facilitate the full cycle of recruitment for all Corporate and Field Management positions across the portfolio

Source potential candidates through online channels, including social media platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter

Create TV monitor advertisements and internal SharePoint announcements to advertise promotion and referral opportunities with all employees nation-wide

Maintain candidate pools to build a pipeline for future prospective job openings

Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews

Manage the activity of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), UKG Recruiting

Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events

Develop, extend and negotiate employment offers that align the input of business leaders and hiring managers

Finalize all candidate background screens and pre-employment testing

Support hiring for front-line employees in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team

Onboarding:

Serve as point person for Corporate and Field Management onboarding, position changes, and offboarding processes, including the administration of the HR Cloud technology platform

Oversee all employee onboarding, offboarding, and position changes within the Company, including but not limited to updating our org charts, office layout, phone lists, setting up desks, drafting organization announcements, and creating necessary employee accounts

Partner with Corporate and Field hiring managers to create training schedules for onboarding and employee promotions

Support event planning and onsite logistics for the Company’s Market of the Year, Culture Week, new location Grand Openings, Annual Leadership Summit, and other milestone events

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

1-2 years of HR experience

Ability to travel 1-2 times per month for job fairs, acquisitions, and other company-related events

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable collaborating with and serving as liaison to employees at all levels within the organization

Excellent interpersonal skills
