Business Data Analyst

*Remote Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Data Analyst position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assist in implementing the Data Management Program within an assigned area of the Bank.

Develop a basic understanding of data management practices.

Calculate metrics to measure compliance with business and Enterprise Data Management policy and standards.

Document metadata for identified critical data elements.

Monitor data quality and support units in resolving data quality exceptions.

Update data issue remediation documentation.

Use business intelligence tools to understand data within assigned areas.

Analyze data sets and provide insights to team members.

Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, identifying issues for escalation.

Maintain internal control standards, implementing audit recommendations.

What You'll Need to Have:

Bachelor s degree and a minimum of 1 year of professional experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or work experience, including 1 year of professional experience.

Familiarity with SQL or SAS code.

Experience writing business documents and technical requirements.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated analytical ability.

Creative problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in spreadsheets, graphing, and presentation tools.

Banking or data management industry experience preferred.

Working knowledge of Data Management principles preferred.

Pay Range: $26-$36/hr +
