Job Description
If you're passionate about working on cutting-edge technology that shapes the future of mobility, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Test Engineer I at our headquarters in North Logan, Utah.
As a Test Engineer at EPS, you'll play a crucial role in defining, documenting, analyzing, performing, and interpreting tests for our products, systems, and components under development. Collaborating closely with other engineering groups, you'll identify functional problems and propose effective solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in designing test procedures for both mechanical and electrical hardware testing, and you'll get to build the necessary test equipment to execute the tests successfully.
Your primary focus will be on aerospace battery hardware testing. Documenting and analyzing test cases will be an essential aspect of your role, and you'll provide regular progress reports to ensure the testing process is well-documented and transparent. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that all testing procedures are in compliance with industry-specific standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety.
To excel in this role, you'll need a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Additionally, we seek individuals with demonstrated experience in leading and effectively communicating within a team environment, both verbally and in writing. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you handle ambiguous challenges with creativity and innovation. A self-starter mentality is essential as you take ownership of your tasks and drive them to successful completion.
While not required, prior experience testing high-voltage electric propulsion or energy storage systems will be considered a strong advantage. Familiarity with aerospace standards and testing protocols is also desirable.
At EPS, you'll be part of a passionate, mission-driven team that values innovation, integrity, and collaboration. This is more than just a job-it's a chance to help shape the future of electric mobility. If you're ready to take your career to the next level and contribute to meaningful projects that advance the transportation industry, we encourage you to apply.
