Access Control Security Guard

Job Description

Excelsior Defense is now accepting applications from qualified Unarmed Security Officers. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority, as well as possess a high level of observation. Conduct CCTV monitoring, periodic foot patrols, gathering of identification information, compose daily logs and reports on assigned iPad through a reporting software. Engage with visitors, residents, contractors and staff with a professional and courteous manner at all times.

POST ASSIGNMENT:

Post is located on St. Pete Beach, FL.

S.O is to be on post starting at 1530 to 2330 (3:30pm to 11:30pm) Total of 24 hours

Post assignment days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence

Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles and people on the property

Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area

Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations

Investigate property for suspicious activity

Submit reports of daily activity and important occurrences

REQUIRED SKILL SET:

Proven experience in Access Control with another Security Agency

Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety

Experience with detailed report writing on an iPad or knowledge of operating an iOS device.

Excellent surveillance and observation skills

Tech-savvy with tablets and/or other devices

Valid Florida Class D Security Guard License
