Self-Direction DSP - Skaneateles Area (Job #LPM-JS)

Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a support staff to work in the Skaneateles area with a young man with Autism. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide him 2-3 hours on Saturday or Sunday at any time, as well as Friday and Saturday evenings. Willing to consider applicants for any or all of the shifts. The schedule can be flexible and varies depending on family needs. Responsibilities may also include, but are not limited to, supporting him during community outings, encouragement and support with utilizing social skills and supporting him with health and safety. Experience with providing positive behavioral supports strongly preferred.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities a plus. Reliable transportation, driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

Flexibility to fill-in for other staff a plus. The pay rate is $22.50 per hour. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
