This position is located with the DFMWR NAF Support Services Division at Parks Reserve Forces Training Area, Dublin, CA.

Duties

Determines marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance participation, and community awareness of key Directorate of Family and Morales, Welfare and Recreation programs.

Conducts Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising research and analyze potential sponsorship opportunities. Keeps track of viable annual events and assess alignment with DFMWR objectives.

Designs and prepare a diverse range of advertising packages using Adobe Creative Software to include brochures, fliers, digital ads, and other materials.

Negotiates mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and executes all supporting documents according to local regulations and policies.

Attends events and serves as primary liaison for sponsors ensuring a positive experience and maximizing sponsor visibility. Prepares comprehensive post-event reports. Performs other duties as assigned.

Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.

Shift will generally be Monday-Friday 0800-1700; however, will be required to work occasional nights and weekends due to mission.

Valid State Driver's License is required.

Qualifications

Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.

Demonstrated work experience in developing advertising programs and selling commercial advertising. Knowledge of Commercial Sponsorship & Advertising Practices. Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotion using tools of the trade and social media. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to establish a professional rapport with activity managers and sponsor representative of varying management levels. Highly Preferred Criteria All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be demonstrated in your resume to get credit.

Possess a minimum of 1 year experience working with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Possess a basic understanding of digital cameras and photography principles
