We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Manager to direct and manage the EJ Reynolds Company Laser and Press Brake Shop.

The Shop Manager will oversee the daily operations of our laser cutting and press brake shop. This role involves sales, managing staff, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, sales experience, leadership experience, and a passion for operational excellence.

The Manager will report directly to the EJR President/ CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, including laser cutting and press brake processes.

Sales: Increase sales and assist sales team in driving sales for laser and press brake services.

Staff Supervision: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of skilled technicians and operators.

Customer Relations: Collaborate with sales team to address client needs and ensure satisfaction.

Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize workflow.

Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.

Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production, quality, and operational metrics. Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a metal fabrication environment in a leadership capacity

Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in production planning and quality control, knowledge of laser cutting and press brake operations.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.Benefits:
