As a new Anesthesia Coder/Biller at Missoula Bone & Joint LLC, you can expect a structured and engaging day with a focus on accuracy and detail. Your daily responsibilities will include assigning appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes in compliance with specific payer guidelines, rules and/or contracts in a timely manner specific to anesthesia services. Responsible for billing and account follow-up of anesthesia services. Responsible for data entry, including demographics, of all professional surgery fees in EMA. Responsible for coding and entering procedure room charges for ASC facility and professional charges. Responsible for coding and entering all hospital charges in EMA. Responsible for reviewing and correcting Coder-All Claims. Serves as back-up Coder for surgery facility and professional fees as needed. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, providing a balanced work-life dynamic. Each day will also include a dedicated 30-minute lunch break, allowing you to recharge and connect with colleagues. This position will start in-office full time and once trained, can transition to a hybrid schedule for three days remote and two days in office.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or GED certificate

2. Training/courses in business office activities

4. Strong ethical and moral character references

5. Good communication skills

6. Good computer skills

7. Certified Professional Coder certification

Preferred

1. Two or more years' coding experience

2. Two or more years' billing experience
