Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking Entry-Level CNC Operators who will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining both CNC Mill and CNC Lathes machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
Set up and operate CNC Mill and Lathe Machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders
Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper alignment
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency
Perform basic programming, tool changes, and offsets as required
Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and collaborate with CNC lead when needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols
Document production processes and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors
Job Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED; vocational training in machining or manufacturing is preferred
Must have 2 to 3 years experience operating CNC Mill and CNC Lathe Machines in a manufacturing environment and experience with both milling and turning operations
Basic understanding of G-code, M-code, and machine programming is a plus
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Must be proficient using measuring tools and inspection techniques
Must be able to pay a high attention to detail along with a commitment to quality
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
Must be willing to learn and improve machining skills
Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
