Job Description: LEAD Staffing is currently seeking experienced Welders for a project in Tampa, FL . Welder MUST be able to pass a welding skills test.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder (5 Years or more).

Use FLUX CORE wire – 045 diameter with CO2 gas on 3/8 plate to weld an open groove double bevel – 1/8 gap

Ceramic welding – preferred not required

Carbon arcing - required

Open root flux core

7018 experience – not 6010/6011

Strong knowledge of pipe systems and their components.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for welding.

Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.

Must have a valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation.

All tools of the trade & PPE.

Strong attention to details.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpreted blueprints to fabricate metal components using various welding techniques, .

Setting up and operating welding equipment, precisely measuring and cutting metal components

Assembling metal parts according to blueprints, using various tools and techniques.

Performing quality checks on welds.

Identified and addressed potential welding defects, ensuring the integrity of all welded joints.

Collaborate with other team members to assemble large metal structures, accurately fitting and welding components according to project specifications other construction professionals.

Maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and consistent weld quality.

Adherence to all welding safety regulations and procedures.

Proper use of safety gear.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
