COMMUNICATIONS OPERATOR POSITION

Rank Investigation and Protection is a progressive company with an in-house Dispatch communications center for our security personnel. We provide security services throughout northern California. We have several standing security sites and a large patrol force and offer a variety of patrol services including public safety services for a community service district, municipal districts, neighborhood patrols, and homeowner associations.

Our communications center has state-of-the-art computer aided dispatch system, touch screen digital radio system, and a 24’ video wall to monitor analytical camera systems..

We are currently looking for part time Dispatchers that fit the following requirements:

Availability to work all shifts and holidays. Shifts are Morning, Mid-Day, Evening, and Graveyard. PLEASE NOTE: We only interview and hire candidates for this position that have availability for all listed shifts: Morning, Mid-Day, Evening, Graveyard. Please do not submit for this position if you do not have availability for all shifts.

Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and a pre-employment drug test

Acclimated to multi-tasking, including answering telephones and radios

Excellent customer service skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to perform under stressful circumstances

Read and speak English fluently

Pass a 35 WPM typing test. (testing and certification is available at EDD)

Be a team player

Rank Investigation and Protection, Inc. provides a 3 to 5 week training program to insure that our dispatchers are provided the tools to perform with the highest level of confidence.

Dispatch experience is not required but is preferred. Our process may include, but is not limited to, an oral interview and practical testing.

This part-time position has the potential to work into a full-time position.
