Start Date: May 16th - 18th, 2025

Shift: 4-day shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Pay: $23 per hour

Per Diem: $150 for candidates living 60+ miles from the jobsite

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Welding Apprentice to serve as a Stationary Fire Watch in Pittston, PA. You will play a critical role in ensuring safety by monitoring for potential fire hazards while welders work overhead. This is a short-term, 4-day assignment requiring focus and attention to detail during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

Monitor welding activities to prevent fire outbreaks.

Maintain a safe work environment by staying alert for sparks, flames, or other hazards.

Report any safety concerns immediately to supervisors.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

No prior welding experience required, but a willingness to learn is essential.

Ability to stay focused during 12-hour overnight shifts.

Must be reliable and punctual for all scheduled shifts.

Comfortable working in an industrial environment.

Must provide own transportation to the jobsite in Pittston, PA.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $23 per hour.

Per Diem: $150 for those residing 60 miles or more from the jobsite.

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, May 16th - 18th, 2025.
