Looking for an Assistant Manager with Strong Problem-Solving Skills and an Excellent Customer Service Background. Ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment. Must have a courteous, friendly and hardworking attitude.

General Summary:

Assists the Medical Office Manager in the operation of the clinic practice. Assist in the facilitation of the smooth flow of patients and clients to ensure optimal patient care. Assist the Medical Office Manager with clinic staff, employee performance, daily operations. While working closely with Providers to ensure that all patient needs/care is being met.

Responsibilities:

Assists Office Manager to ensure staff competency and understand of all office policies

Under direction of Office Manager oversees the work of all front office employees to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards

Counseling any employees struggling in their roles

Assists in establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with all clinicians, physicians, and staff

Training new office employees and organizing their employment paperwork

Perform other office tasks as required

Skills and Qualifications:

2 years of prior experience in a medical office leadership role

Must have prior experience working as Support Staff in an out-patient clinic setting with EMR usage

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong Problem-Solving Skills (recognition, analysis, and resolution)

Flexibility to adjust to new tasks

Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees and patients

Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Strong organizational skills

Deadline and detail-oriented

Strong leadership qualities

Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employees

Attention to detail to ensure that tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly

Community first thought process (patients first, be responsive, helpful, caring towards patients, caregivers, callers and coworkers)
