As a DevOps Software Engineer on the Software team, you will report to the Software Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, and QA groups to maintain and enhance our build automation, continuous integration pipelines, and on-premises test and production infrastructure. Your work will ensure reliable, traceable builds and test results for complex avionics equipment.Job Duties
Software team contributor
Develop and maintain software for in-house production tools and test infrastructure
Develop and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins for firmware, desktop, and embedded targets.
Evaluate new DevOps practices and tooling enhancements to improve velocity, stability, and security
Partner with software developers, testers, hardware teams, and production engineers to align on test plans, root-cause analyses, and system-level performance criteria.
Facilitate and improve operations by analyzing systems and recommending changes in policies and procedures
Build and maintain production data collection infrastructure and reporting mechanisms
Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as neededSkills & Qualifications
Proficient in Python
Experienced in C/C++ development
Communication & Collaboration
Analyzing, Processing, and Visualizing Time-Series and Spatial Data, both real-time and offline
Researching & Solving Mathematical Problems
Software Engineer Fundamentals and Process
Proficient in software change control, data environment management, and related infrastructureEducation & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience
Combination of 4+ years education and experience in DevOps software development
