1st?Shift Multiple Spindle Screw Machine Operator Job Summary:
$19.80 starting. Pay Maximum can go up to $24.55 an hour.
7am-3:30pm
Screw Machine Operator loads steel rods into feeding mechanism and observes operation.
Screw Machine Operator must be able to read dimensions, tolerances, and number of work pieces to be machined.
Screw Machine Operator is responsible for tooling setup.
Replaces or sharpens worn tools and perform troubleshooting machine.
Operate bench grinder or surface grinder to sharpen tools.
Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep specified dimension.
Remove chips and shavings from surface of machine, using oil line, brush, rag, or air hose.
Transport shavings from the screw machine to the reclaim system.
1st?Shift Screw Machine Operator Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have mechanical trouble shooting experience / skills.
Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, gauges, Sunnen hole gauges?
Prior knowledge of screw machine practices and equipment preferred.
Lifting: constantly: 0-10 pounds, frequently: 11-25 pounds, occasionally: ?26-85 pounds.
