Accounting Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to become an integral part of our team! You will assist the Controller and CFO with overseeing financial activities as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency, among other areas that the Controller may need.

Responsibilities:

Indirect Cost allocations

Primary GL responsibility for real estate entity.

Analyzing and reporting cost vs budget on contracts in progress

Multiple projects and roles as we integrate new accounting software.

Qualifications:

Must have over five years general ledger experience and Excel skills

Must be familiar with Construction Accounting

BI-LINGUAL Spanish a plus

Strong leadership qualities

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
